I love going to local swap-meets, you can find some true treasures. When I find little nick nacks most people dont really know what it is or what it is used for.
This past weekend I found this little figure/hand gesture, its about 3 inches tall and made of wood with crystals glued at the base. Im sure most of you are a wear of the meaning behind this hand gesture. For those who are not, it basically reverts any negative energy sent your way. There are several hand gestures that do the same and are different around the world.
This particular hand gesture is one of my favorites along with the one where you flick your thumb outward on you upper teeth.
I love it, I saw it and thought hooooo, I must have it. Im thinking of taking it to work.

ReplyDeleteLOL! Also love Debra's comment. Really like your hand figurine. :)
ReplyDelete@ Magic Love Crow. Debra is a awesome, she made me laugh too. I had never thought of the middle finger as a protective hand gesture. But I guess it is, we usually use it when someone wrongs us in some way, right?
ReplyDelete@Tracy Moore. Thanks I still have it sitting in my entrance to my house, right where I took the picture.
